Shareefah is an Associate focusing on government compliance, and civil transactional and litigation matters. Prior to joining Souder Law Group, Shareefah served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Associate Justices Elizabeth N. Dewar and Elspeth B. Cypher of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Shareefah also served two terms as a Judicial Law Clerk for Associate Justices Robert A. Brennan and Mary Thomas Sullivan of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Shareefah is a graduate of Haverford College and the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she graduated manga cum laude. During law school, Shareefah was the Managing Editor of the Law Review and a Public Interest Law Fellow. Her note, Meat Wars: The Unsettled Intersection of Federal and State Food Labeling Regulations for Plant-Based Meat Alternatives, was published in Volume 15 of the UMass Law Review. Before law school, she worked as an AmeriCorps Caseworker helping clients repair homes damaged by Hurricane Sandy, and as a Specialist with the Department of Social Services. She is originally from Ewing, New Jersey.
